EFFORTS OF GUJARAT ENVIRO PROTECTION INFRASTUCTURE (HARYANA) PRIVATE LIMITED (GEPIL)
GEPIL installed and operating the Integrated Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (ICHWTSDF) of Haryana located near Village Pali, District Faridabad.
PROCEDURE FOR LIFTING WASTE
- PROCEDURE FOR LIFTING WASTE FROM REGISTERED UNIT AND COMMUNICATING WITH GEPIL;
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste to have valid Membership of HEMS
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste should enter into an agreement with GEPIL (Haryana) followed by Finger Printing Analysis (FPA) of the Hazardous Waste generated by the unit
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste should inform GEPIL (Haryana) for the lifting of waste.
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste should inform GEPIL (Haryana) about the disposal quantity of waste.
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste makes payment to GEPIL (Haryana) as per the disposal charges against the disposal quantity of waste.
- GEPIL (Haryana) issues work order for the said disposal quantity to Unit generating Hazardous Waste.
- GEPIL (Haryana) schedule vehicle to pick up waste and inform the Unit generating Hazardous Waste about the schedule date and time.
- GEPIL (Haryana) sends the hazardous waste manifest set along with the scheduled vehicle.
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste makes suitable arrangement for the loading of waste in to truck, so that the loading should complete within the described time period.
- Unit generating Hazardous Waste fills-up the manifest set and TREM Card and submits it with drivers at every consignment for safe and disturbance free transportation.
- GEPIL (Haryana) check all documents, collect representative sample and complete quick check analysis, compare it with finger prints of waste and on verification, issue job cards for unloading and suitable treatments and disposal.
- If analysis data is not match with finger prints of waste, GEPIL (Haryana) inform the Unit generating Hazardous Waste about the characteristics of the waste, treatments required and charges for the treatment.
- On approval from Unit generating Hazardous Waste GEPIL (Haryana) issue job card for that waste.
- GEPIL (Haryana) return manifest copy to Unit generating Hazardous Waste and HSPCB as per legal procedure.
- GEPIL (Haryana) send bill to Unit generating Hazardous Waste against waste disposal payment.
